Janet is a long-time veteran of the Rendezvous, first becoming involved when Kemp O'Connell moved it to the present site in Mariaville, NY in 1984. At that time the residents of the neighboring towns didn't want a bunch of bikers partying there, so Janet and many other supporters worked tirelessly to gain acceptance for the Rendezvous.

She's a staffer during the annual Rendezvous in the position of Head of Staff for Special Gate. Which means if you aren't general admission, you've got to get past her to get in. And since the Rendezvous has also been her "day job" for the past couple of years, she KNOWS who does and who doesn't.

In her spare time Janet is a confirmed computer user and teacher. She spends a lot of time helping folks who are new to the computer world, and aiding them in becoming comfortable with computing and the Internet. She is also a frequent contributor to the paper edition of the Rendezvous Express, and spends hours on the Net hunting down stories and doing research, as well as ghost-writing for others.
