WASN'T BORN TO FOLLOW
That was our slogan back in 1993, and it's still true today. As I pour through the emails questioning our dates for 2008, some overly rude, that slogan keeps flashing in my mind.
Let me say this so it is perfectly clear. The Rendezvous, since finding its permanent home at Indian Lookout Country Club, has always been held the weekend after Father's Day. Always. We did not change our dates to conflict with Laconia. Laconia moved their event up a week. I don't know why, and I don't particularly care why. The fact remains that our event is held the weekend after Father's Day, and that is not going to change, as another of our slogans says, We Set The Standard.
